The Hotdish Revolution is a beloved Northeast tradition where neighbors gather to share their best recipes, taste amazing hotdishes, and celebrate community spirit. Join us for food, fun, and friendly competition!

Enter your dish in our community hotdish competition! Prizes, bragging rights, and local glory await.

Hotdish participants receive free admission to the event and get to sample all the entries. Sign up early to reserve your spot in the competition!

Time: Dish entries: 4:30–5:00 PM | Event & Sampling: 5:00–8:00 PM

Admission

  • $15 per person (ages 12+)

  • Free for kids under 12

    • Tater Tot Excellence: contains tater tots

    • Darn Good (anything goes!)

    • Professional: local chefs/restaurants

    • Jell-O Sculptures

    • I made it!: kids category, any dish

    • People’s Choice (voted on by all attendees)

What to Expect

  • Sample a variety of hotdishes made by your neighbors and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.

  • Enjoy family-friendly tunes accordion music from Dan the Accordion Man and local band after the awards ceremony!

  • Watch as judges crown winners in categories like Tater Tot, Veg/Vegan, Spicy, Darn Good, Professional, and Jell-O Sculptures.

  • Bring the whole crew! Kids under 12 get in free, and there are plenty of dishes and activities for all ages.

  • Meet neighbors, connect with local leaders, and celebrate Northeast’s food traditions together.

  • Support HNIA by joining the raffle or grabbing a “Hotdish.” hat.
